What’s happening next week 06/03/2017 – 12/03/2017

We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 7th, Anne-Marie Renaud (Unit 02); 7th, Prof Kay de Villiers (Unit 20).

 Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 07 March at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We are serving a choice of Beef & Potato Curry OR Butter Chicken both served with fragrant rice, sweet chili paw paw, cucumber raita & poppadoms. This will be followed by a trio of ice-cream served with chocolate sauce. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 06 March 2017. Unfortunately no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning. In this way we can be sure to give the correct instructions to Rambling Rose to ensure that everyone is happy with their meal choice. Take-way containers that will cost an additional R5 per container. We no longer use our crockery/cutlery for take-away orders.

We are excited about the turn out we’ve had for the Potluck Luncheon, don’t forget every Monday and Wednesday between 12h30 – 14h00. A main course & coffee/tea for R65.00 or if you have a sweet tooth, a main course, dessert & coffee/tea for only R80.00. No booking is required as the meal is offered on a first come, first serve basis each. last orders placed at 1.30pm. An SMS will be sent out by 10am on the day advising you of the menu or you can call Andréa on Ext 300 to find out what is being served on the day. These meals are also available to take-away and will be charged at an additional R5 for the container.

Forthcoming Events:

  *   Movie night will take place on Saturday, 11 March at 19h00. Please contact Elda on Ext 155 if you would like to attend.
  *   The Music Evening will take place on Wednesday, 15 March at 19h00. Please contact Herman Poelmann on Ext 115 if you would like to attend.
  *   The Magic show will take place in the Clubhouse on Thursday, 16 March. The Bring & Share will be at 18h30 followed by the show at 19h15. Please book and pay your R50 to Andréa at reception on Ext 300.
  *   Sunday Roast Lunch will be held on 19 March in the clubhouse from 12:30pm.
  *   Our Coffee Break IT Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 22 March at 2:30pm. Meet Kyle Knight, our technology specialist in the Clubhouse and chat to him about will feature WhatsApp and the benefits of smartphones.
  *   Lucky Draw - R50 buys you three raffle tickets for the monthly lucky draw to be held on Tuesday, 28 March!
  *   The Spanish Themed Evening Dinner will take place on Friday, 31 March at 18h30. Cost is R150 per person. Please book and pay Andréa Ext 300.
