What’s happening next week 19/06/2017 – 25/06/2017

We would like to wish Anne Lawton (Unit 51) a Happy Birthday for 21st June.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 20 June at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Hungarian Goulash OR Chicken Forrestier (bacon & mushroom cream sauce) served with parsley rice and seasonal vegetables This will be followed by Lemon meringue pie and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 19 June 2017. No late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.


  *   Our Coffee Break IT Workshop will take place on Monday, 19 June at 10:30pm. Meet Kyle Knight, our technology specialist in the Clubhouse and chat to him about and the benefits of smartphones and anything else you need clarity on.
  *   Evergreen Diep River will be hosting a line dancing open day on Monday, 19 June at 11h00. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300 if you wish to attend.
  *   A presentation on Estate planning and curatorship will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday, 28 June at 3pm. Refreshments and Snacks will be provided. Please contact Andréa by Monday on Ext 300 to confirm your attendance for catering and seating purposes.
  *   Indian themed evening dinner will take place on Friday, 30 June at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Butter chicken /Lamb curry served with jasmine rice & sambals. Please book with Andréa at reception on Ext 300 by Tuesday, 27 April. Cost is R150 per person.

We start planning to hold an Arts & Crafts display on Saturday, 9 September. With our newly renovated clubhouse, we can accommodate more tables for residents to display their Art/Craft. Please diarise this date. If you have any questions or you wish to participate in the exhibition, please contact Felicity Walker on Ext 142.

Lastly, a friendly reminder that tomorrow is a public holiday (Youth Day). If you have an emergency please contact Christine on **002. Have a lovely weekend and remember to save water!
