What’s happening next week 12/06/2017 – 18/06/2017

We would like to wish Felicity Walker (Unit 42) a Happy Birthday for 15th June.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 13 June at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Fish cakes on mashed potato OR Braised beef on pasta served with seasonal vegetables This will be followed by Pear & butterscotch bake & cream and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by 12pm on Monday, 12 June 2017. No  late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning.

  *   Movie night will take place on Saturday, 10 June at 19h00. The Intern – A retired 70-year-old successful business owner and widower, Ben Whittaker (Robert de Niro) has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway), a young, career-driven woman.   *   Free class of gentle yoga/stretch exercises will take place on Wednesday, 14 June at 10h30 – 11h30 in the clubhouse. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300
  *   We are excited to have a live performance by Christy-Lyn, Harpist in the Clubhouse on Wednesday, 14 June at 19h00. The show will cost R70 per person and is a bring and share. Please book with Andréa on Ext 300.
  *   Our Coffee Break IT Workshop will take place on Monday, 19 June at 10:30pm. Meet Kyle Knight, our technology specialist in the Clubhouse and chat to him about and the benefits of smartphones and anything else you need clarity on.
  *   The Music Evening will take place on Wednesday, 21 June at 19h00. Please contact Herman Poelmann on Ext 115 if you would like to attend.
  *   A presentation on Estate planning and curatorship will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday, 28 June at 3pm. Snacks will be provided. Please contact Andréa on Ext 300 to confirm your attendance.
