We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 2nd, Vivian Docherty (Unit 58); 3rd, Sheila Kirkwood (Unit 30); 3rd, Carmen Garizio (Unit 55), 3rd, Derek Bond-Smith (Unit 46); 7th, Anne-Marie Renaud (Unit 02); 7th, Prof Kay de Villiers (Unit 20)

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 28 February at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We are serving a choice of Crumbed pork steaks with apple sauce OR Grilled hake topped with shrimps, lemon & capers both served with mashed potatoes & seasonal veg. This will be followed by Milk tart with a fig coulis & cream. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 27 February 2017. Unfortunately no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning. In this way we can be sure to give the correct instructions to Rambling Rose to ensure that everyone is happy with their meal choice. We are very excited that our take-away orders have rapidly increased so we have introduced take-way containers that will cost an additional R5 per take away. Going forward, we will no longer be using our crockery for take-away orders.

We are excited to introduce a Potluck Luncheon on Monday and Wednesday between 12h30 – 14h00 from next week. A main course & coffee/tea for R65.00 or if you have a sweet tooth, a main course, dessert & coffee/tea for only R80.00. No booking is required as the meal is offered on a first come, first serve basis each. An SMS will be sent out by 10am on the day advising you of the menu or you can call Andréa on Ext 300 to find out what is being served on the day. These meals are also available to take-away and will be charged at an additional R5 for the container.

Our Coffee Break IT Workshop will take place on Monday, 27 February at 2:30pm. Meet Kyle Knight, our technology specialist in the Clubhouse and chat to him about any tech issues you may have and he will try to assist.

Don’t forget to book your place for Quiz night happening on Thursday, 2 March in the Clubhouse at 19h00. A light meal will be served from 18h00. Please book and pay with Andréa at reception. Cost: R50 p/person.

A presentation on Interpreting and Understanding Dreams by clinical psychologist, Malcom Pillay will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday, 01 March at 15h00. Please confirm your attendance for seating purposes with Andréa on Ext 300.

Our Men’s Breakfast will take place on Thursday, 2 March at 09h00 in the clubhouse, kindly book and pay your R50 to Andréa at reception.
