What’s happening next week 06/02/2017 – 12/02/2017

We would like to wish Bettye Ball (Unit 07) a very Happy Birthday for Wednesday, 08 February.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 07 February at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We are serving a choice of Beef Lasagna with rosa tomatoes OR Chicken & Mushroom Lasagna with rosa tomatoes both served with garlic loaves & Greek salad. This will be followed by Fruit salad & cream. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 06 February 2017. Unfortunately no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay for your meal by Tuesday afternoon. In this way we can be sure to give the correct instructions to Rambling Rose and thereby ensure that everyone is happy with their meal choice.
We are very excited that our take-away orders have rapidly increased so we have introduced take-way containers that will cost an additional R5. Going forward, we will no longer be using our crockery for take-away orders.

Our small group had a lovely time colouring in this morning, taking a moment to pause and be mindful. We encourage you to feel of the pencil in your hand as you meditate on the beauty of the whole illustration which is particularly suited to mindful meditation and creativity.  Our next Colour-In Club will take place on Friday, 10 February at 10:00am. All colouring pencils, crayons and drawing sheets will be provided, but if you have your own, please bring them along.

Forthcoming Events:

  *   The Music Evening will take place on Wednesday, 15 February at 19h00. The first part in our programme will feature Beethoven: Symphony No 8 in F Major performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Christian Thielmann. This will be followed by Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No.3 in D Minor performed by the Verbier Festival Orchestra and conducted by Yuri Temirkanov with as pianist Daniil Trifonov. You are welcome to bring your wine and refreshments on the evening. Please call Herman Poelmann on Ext 115, if you would like to attend for catering and seating purposes.
  *   Sunday Roast on 19 February 2017. R135 per person, book with Andréa on Ext 300.
  *   Surf & Turf dinner to be held on Friday, 24 February. R150 per person, book with Andréa on Ext 300.
  *   Ageless Grace takes place every Thursday morning at 10:00am – come and try this amazing movement class yourself and see how it works.
  *   Lucky Draw - R50 buys you three raffle tickets for the monthly lucky draw to be held on Tuesday, 28 February!
