We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday on 30th August to Tertia Harrod (Unit 13) and 31st August, Rose Kynoch (Unit 40).

Our Social Dinner on Tuesday, 29th August is 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Beef Lasagne with roasted rosa tomatoes OR Chicken Fricassee with parsley rice and seasonal vegetables.  This will be followed by Honey & Nut Ice Cream and Coffee/Tea. We kindly request that you book and pay Amanda on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 28 August 2017. No late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show. Don’t forget to buy your raffle ticket for Tuesday night’s lucky monthly draw.

The Arts & Crafts Fair to be held on Saturday, 9 September from 10am to 3:00pm will feature some amazing crafters, hobbyists and creatives. Exhibitors will include Evergreen residents not only from our village, but also from Diep River, Muizenberg and Lake Michelle. It promises to be a wonderful event. Please invite your friends and family to come through to have some delicious refreshments and selection of cakes in the Village Tea Garden and wander around to see  what’s on show.

Just a reminder that our first event for September is the monthly Men’s Breakfast to be held on Thursday, 7 September at 9am. Please book with Amanda on Ext 300.

Lastly, I would like to remind everyone to please report any maintenance problems you have by completing the “Maintenance Slip” form available at reception and handing it in. The job will be logged with the maintenance team and allocated to either Roshaan or relevant sub-contractor. When so much is happening, it is sometimes very difficult to remember what was reported to me or Roshaan in passing. Your assistance in this regard is appreciated.
