What’s happening next week 10/04/2017 – 16/04/2017

We would like to wish Alison Mc Donald (Unit 18) a very Happy Birthday for 13th April.

Our Social Dinner will take place on Tuesday, 11 April at 6:30pm for 7:00pm in the Clubhouse. We will be serving a choice of Beef Stroganoff OR Grilled hake with a rich tomato sauce served with parsley rice & seasonal vegetables. This will be followed by Crepe Suzette & ice-cream. We kindly request that you book and pay Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 10 April 2017. Unfortunately, no late bookings can be accepted and there will be no refund in the event of a no-show.  Please make every effort to pay and sign for your meal by Tuesday morning.

Traditional Easter Sunday Lunch will take place on Sunday, 16 April. We will be serving Pickled fish as a starter, followed by Roast Lamb & mint sauce, roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables. This will be followed by an, Easter Surprise dessert. Please book with Andréa at reception on Ext 300 by no later than Wednesday, 12 April. R150 per person.

The support we’ve had for the Potluck Luncheon, served every Monday and Wednesday between 12:30pm-2:00pm has been excellent. A main course & coffee/tea for R65.00 or if you have a sweet tooth, a main course, dessert & coffee/tea for only R80.00. No booking is required. Last orders placed at 1.30pm. An SMS will be sent out by 10am on the day advising you of the menu or you can call Andréa on Ext 300 to find out what is being served on the day. These meals are also available to take-away.

The Fabulously Flora Competition is taking place and you are invited to get out your cameras and start clicking away, taking pictures of the fabulous show in our gardens. Pictures must be submitted by the 25th of each month to stand a chance to win fame and fortune in our annual competition. Submissions will be posted on our Evergreen Facebook page and he winner will be announced in December. Submit your favourite photograph to Andrea Witte at andreaw at evergreenlifestyle.co.za<mailto:andreaw at evergreenlifestyle.co.za> and it may find itself o the pages of our monthly national Evergreen newsletter. Please note that the image resolution must be a minimum of 300dpi.

  *   Movie Night will take place on Saturday, 22 April at 19h00. For additional information, please contact Elda on Ext 155.
  *   The IT Tech Talk will take place on Monday, 24 April at 10h30
  *   South African “Diamonds are Forever’ themed evening dinner will take place on Friday, 28 April at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. Please book with Andréa at reception on Ext 300.

We wish you a Happy Easter (Easter Friday, 14 April and Easter Monday, 17 April). Christine will be on leave over this Easter period from Thursday, 13 April – Wednesday, 19 April. You can still contact her on **002 in the event of an emergency or call Andréa on **022.

And lastly, just a reminder that the alteration of the clubhouse is still taking place and there will be a lot of activity in and around the area. The project will take approximately four/five weeks and we apologise for any inconvenience. We will keep you posted on the progress.
