Please note that the  Annual General Meeting will held in the clubhouse on Monday, 5 September at 3pm. This will be followed y drinks and snack. Everyone is encourage to attend. Please let us have your apologies if you are not able to make it.

This week, our Tuesday night social dinner will take place on 6 September at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We are serving a choice of either Pork bangers served with mash, caramelised onions and
seasonal  vegetables or Hearty chicken casserole served with parsley rice. This will be followed by Homemade honey & nut ice cream and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book with Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 4pm on Monday, 5 September.

Our Men’s Only Breakfast is set to take place on Thursday, 8 September at 09h00 and all are welcome.  Come and enjoy a hearty breakfast and coffee.  Please make every effort to attend. Please book for breakfast with Andréa at reception or call Ext 300. For additional information, please call Ton Weber on Ext 105.

The Babylonstoren Day Trip is planned for Thursday 15 September to a historic Cape Dutch farm that dates back to 1692. It boasts one of the best preserved farmyards in the Cape and is laid out over 3,5 hectares. The garden is divided into 15 sections that comprise fruit, vegetables, berries, bees for pollinating, indigenous plants, fragrant lawns, a prickly pear maze, ducks and chickens, and more. A secluded path runs along the stream where thousands of clivias grow in the shade of the wild olives trees, including the very special Mick Dower collection that is on display in the Puff Adder. After a stroll through the garden, you can enjoy an informal, picnic-style light lunch under the oak trees or grab a cup of tea and cake. We have two options available which includes transport, entrance fee and a reserved lunch (R310) or no lunch (R170). (The second option is on a first come, first served basis subject to availability at the restaurant).  We kindly request that you RSVP and pay when booking with Andréa at reception or phone Ext 300 by no later than Monday, 5 September. Note: This day trip is subject to a minimum of 30 people in order to guarantee the bus transport price.
