What’s happening next week 17/10/2016 - 23/10/2016

 We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday: 18 October, Colin Levine (Unit 12); Gill Blackman (Unit 29), 23 October.

This week, our Tuesday night social dinner will take place on 18 October at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. We are serving a choice of Asian style chicken served with fragrant rice or Crumbed pork steak with sautéed potatoes & seasonal veg. This will be followed by Peach melba and coffee/tea. We kindly request that you book with Andréa on Ext 300 by no later than 12pm on Monday, 17 October 2016.

A reminder that the Fibre To The Home Workshop will take place on Monday, 17th October at 10h30.

Ageless Grace is presenting a gentle fitness program on Thursday, 20th October at 10h30 in the clubhouse. It is based on neuroplasticity that activates all five functions of the brain – analytical, strategic, kinaesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination – and it simultaneously addresses all 21 physical skills for core strengthening. All exercises are done whilst being seated and it is sure to make you feel up-beat. Please call Andréa on Et 300 to let her know that you will be participating for set-up and seating purposes.

Forthcoming Events:

-       Please diarise our Halloween Dinner which will be held in the clubhouse on Friday, 28 October at 7pm. The cost is R135 per person. Please book with Andréa on Ext 300.

-       Dealing with Transition & Change presented by Peter Fox on Monday, 31st October at 10h30 in the clubhouse. Please book with reception on Ext 300 for catering and seating purposes.

-       We are planning an exciting day trip to Franschoek Valley followed by Lunch at the Vrede & Lust on Wednesday, 2nd November. Please book early as there are limited spaces available. (See poster attached for full details)

-       Lucky Draw - R50 buys you three raffle tickets for the monthly lucky draw!
