What’s happening next week (11/07/16 – 17/07/16)

Please note that Andréa has taken two weeks leave and will return on Monday 25, July – if you have any queries or booking don’t hesitate to call me or Amanda Norawana at reception on Ext 300.

We would like to wish the following residents a Happy Birthday on: 13 July, Elaine Doyle (Unit 12) and 16 July, Jean van Rhyn (Unit 49).

Our Social Night Dinner to be held on Tuesday, 12 July includes a choice of Grilled Pork Chop or Chicken Cordon Bleu served with chips and vegetable stir-fry followed by Chocolate Mousse.  Please book with Amanda at reception on Ext 300 by 4pm on Monday afternoon. Price R95 per person.

We have already received a number of bookings for the  “Colouring-In” morning to be held on Wednesday, 13 July from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Price of R50.00 per person includes morning tea/muffin and light lunch. It promises to be a lot of fun. We provide the crayons and sheets.

The regular monthly Men’s Breakfast to be hosted by Ton Weber (Ext 105) on the Thursday, 14th July at 09h00 – please book and pay by Wednesday with reception on Ext 300.

Daily Lunch Specials: These simple meals are priced from R30 – R60 and will also be available to take home. May we suggest that you bring your own dishes to the club house if you do wish to take meals home. IMPORTANT: We kindly ask that you book with Amanda at reception of Ext 300 by 4pm on the previous day for catering purposes. Meals will only be available for lunch if bookings have been received.

We offer a self-service Coffee Shop on the weekends. If you feel like watching the Wimbledon Tennis Final in the lounge  – please help yourself to some tea, coffee and cake. A schedule will be left on the counter and we ask that you please enter your details and what you have had and we will prepare an account. This will be put into your cubbyhole and you can settle the outstanding amount in cash at reception on Monday.

-       Monthly Sunday Lunch to be held on 17 July at 12h30

-       Occupational Therapy presentation on Thursday, 21 July in the clubhouse at 10h30

-       Movie Night on Saturday 23 July at 19h00 – Quartet featuring a stellar cast including Billy Connolly, Maggie Smith , Pauline Collins and Tom Courtenay

-       Please diarise the Christmas in July dinner to be held on Friday, 29th July at 18h30

-       Slipper Day Tea Party on Friday, 5 August at 10h00
