<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">On arrival, a donor is greeted at the door by a staff member who is wearing PPE (namely; a visor, mask and apron).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">The temperature of the donor is taken at the door using a digital thermometer and has to answer a series of questions on a screening form
to help with ascertaining safety for you to enter the donation area.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">After the screening, when cleared the donor fills out a donation questionnaire on a table that has 2 chairs that are 2 meters apart in
case of more than 1 donor.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">From here, the donor has their blood pressure and iron levels checked by a health care professional. This particular individual also always
wears the above mentioned PPE. A new set gloves and lancet needle are used for each and every donor.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">The donor will proceed to the donation bed. All the beds are sanitized with alcohol wipes after every donation. The person taking the blood
wears PPE and uses a new set of gloves for each donor. A sanitizer spray and wipes are placed all around the donation area and used throughout the procedure and in between donors.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">At the end of the donation, the donor is given sanitizer to spray their hands before exiting the donation area.</span><span lang="EN-ZA" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA"> </span><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-family:Helvetica;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">
