<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Helvetica">Skateboarding has been chosen by the IOC as one of the key symbols of a new trajectory for the Olympic Games,<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Helvetica">opening it up to a new generation of youthful, urban, excited and engaged viewers (and athletes!)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Helvetica">Signifying this new approach, a skateboarding half-pipe will be the focal point of the launch event, serving as the stage.
