Dear all

With reference to our previous correspondence re roadworks in the Melrose Arch precinct, please note:

Works at the corner of Melrose Boulevard and Athol Oakland Road (Section 1) will commence on the 05th of September 2023 at 06:00.

This Main entrance will be completely closed off to traffic from 05 September to 11 September!

Alternative entry and exit  locations: (Refer to attached map)

  *   Athol Oakland and Whiteley Roads (at Daytona)
  *   Corlett Drive and Melrose Boulevard (at Bentley)
  *   All basement entry and exit points will operate as normal
  *   Building 1 and 3 will still be able to access their basement off Melrose Boulevard.

Works at this location will continue though out the weekend and be completed by 11th of September 2023.

Note:  All Metro Bus and Gautrain bus services will be re- routed along Whiteley road.

Commuters are advised that the above services will collect and drop off at the following locations:

Metro Bus services,

  *   The red benches on the corners of Whiteley road and High street (opposite the Marriott Hotel).

Gautrain bus services,

  *   At the loading bays opposite Mezepoli along Whiteley Road

Once all works are completed, the intersection will be opened to all traffic.

•             Please expect delays and detours when and where applicable.
•             Please use alternate routes and basement entrance/exits as necessary.
•             Please obey directional signage and flagmen at all times.
