[Melrose Arch Tenant]

        Dear tenant,

As you are well aware, South Africa has been experiencing an electricity crisis and load shedding has unfortunately become part of our everyday lives.
This has had a serious impact on all businesses, including Melrose Arch.
While we are making every effort to keep the power on at Melrose Arch, we need to be mindful of the impact of our power usage here on the Precinct.

To that end, we would like to request that all commercial tenants minimize their power usage after hours by shutting down or turning off non-essential electrical equipment within their premises.

The most basic intervention that we can request is for all our commercial tenants to simply switch off the lights in their premises when they leave at night.
Whilst this may not sound like a massive intervention in terms of energy saving, we assure you that every little bit goes a long way.

If you have a requirement to leave certain lights on for emergency purposes, please feel free to contact the Precinct's Call Centre on 011-684 0099 and request assistance from the Precincts electrical service provider.
Please note that any electrical changes that may be required, would be for your account.
