Please be advised that the African Presidential Leadership Centre is hosting the APLC Round Table and Business Forum at The Venue at Melrose Arch
today and tomorrow (31 October to 1 November). It is a high-profile event that is being attended by CEOs from the private sector, former heads
of state from a number of African countries, government leaders, media, diplomats and international development partners.
There are events taking place throughout the day and evening.
As a result, security is extremely tight around The Venue.
There is a high police presence and a number of blue-light vehicles in the precinct.
This is a necessary precaution and there is no need for alarm.
