<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">The only resident that is still away from the village because of complications as a result of the virus<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">is Alf Gadd. H</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">e is currently still in the
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">intermediate covid care facility. One of the many effects of
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">the virus or just generally being sick, is that it lowers your immune system and you are then susceptible
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">to different illnesses. Without disclosing too much, because Alf was in hospital for two weeks and in the
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">recovery facility, he was exposed to many other viruses. The body, because of the inflammation, then
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">requires more medical intervention and takes longer to mend. Alf is improving every day and I am
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-ZA">hopeful he will be back in the village before the end of the week<o:p></o:p></span></p>
