[Evergreen Muizenberg]

        Dear Resident,

My heart is immensely full of joy today as I write this letter.



Following a fantastically successful Spring Fair Market Day to raise funds for Itemba School,

you have again shown your generosity with pledges, donations, support and encouragement

as we set, achieved and exceeded our goal to support 55 children from Nourish Pre-school

and Educare here in Capricorn, through the Santa Shoebox project.



This is the highest total we have ever done, and is almost as much as what we have achieved

collectively over the previous 3 years.



Special thanks to Jenny Bedwell, Cynthia Waldegrave, the MacKay family, Maureen and Billy Segers,

Gaye Goodwin and Laeeqah, for reaching out to additional friends and family to help ensure this

project is a success.



Needless to say, without those who helped pack and wrap all the extra boxes, we would never have

made the delivery on time.  Santa's elves at their best!  Thank you.



I am proud to be working with such amazing residents!  Thanks to every one of you for all your

support in every way that YOU WERE ABLE TO, no matter how small you may think it was.  It was

HUGE for me. Thank you to Kim and Derek for encouraging me to run this project for the last 4 years.

It is something I look forward to each year now.
