LOCKDOWN REGULATIONS UNDER ADJUSTED ALERT LEVEL 4

As you are aware, from today and until 11 July 2021, South Africa is under adjusted alert level 4
Lockdown and Regulations 24(2)(k) and (3) state as follows:

The practical implications of these Regulations at Evergreen Muizenberg are set out below.
We ask residents to please be supportive of management decisions in consultation with medical
professionals and other industry leaders. Our teams will do everything in their ability to ensure
you are kept safe and comfortable during these this time.

Lifestyle Centre

The lifestyle centre will be closed for all activities and social gatherings.
The gym, library and swimming pool areas will remain open for a maximum of 2 persons at any one time.

  *   Gym and swimming pool please reserve your spot in the book provided at the entrance.
  *   Library, please respect this request.
Adhere to strict social distancing protocols and ensure that you sanatise the area upon completion and
before you leave.

Domestic workers

Residents are urged not to make use of domestic workers for the next 14 days unless it is absolutely critical.
To this effect, all private domestic workers will not be allowed access to the village as of Tuesday 29 June
unless prior arrangements have been made with Village Management.
The village domestic workers have been divided into two separate teams so as to minimise the chance of cross-
contamination between the staff.

Maintenance

Only essential maintenance will be permitted within units and subject to prior arrangements being made with
Village Management. Any variation orders will be placed on hold for the next 14 days.
Likewise the village maintenance team has been divided into two separate teams so as to minimise the chance of
cross-contamination between the staff.
Garden services will only be permitted in common areas of the Village.

Catering

All meals and refreshments will be on a "take out" basis. Please call the bistro to order any meals and or
refreshments to be delivered. Ext. 2253.

Visitations

Any residents returning from a time away are to strictly isolate for at least seven days monitoring themselves
for any symptoms

Visits by members of the public will not be permitted except for compassionate reasons and with prior
arrangements being made with Village Management.

Symptoms, Testing and Results

We urge residents to inform the village management in the event of them:

  *   showing symptoms,
  *   going to get tested for Covid-19 and in the event that you do test positive for Covid-19.
  *   strictly ISOLATE until you have received you results.
This will assist the Village staff to support and assist you where necessary.

Vaccines

Lastly, our second round of vaccines will start rolling out from the middle of July. We plead with you to please
stay safe and isolate where possible until you have received your second jab. The efficacy of this second jab, after
which the vaccine produces more robust antibodies and immunised the body, increases from 33% to 88%.
Please note that optimal immunisation will only be reached a full 14 days after the second jab.

Residents are reminded that should you contract COVID-19 in the period after your first jab, that a compulsory
90-day waiting period will have to be observed before getting your second jab. Please do everything in your ability
to NOT get this virus!
