        Dear Residents,

COVID- 19 Updated Derek Drew

It's unfortunate that I have to inform you that Derek Drew has tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday 16 June. He has been asymptotic other than a mild headache. We wish him and his wife Vinnie well over this stressful time. We know he will make a full recovery and we will welcome him back on 1 July.

We have immediately contacted all known staff and residents that have been in contact with Derek to advise them to self-isolate in their homes for 14 days.

We will test key management and staff members, as well as any resident exposed to Derek, over the next 24 Hours to determine if the virus has spread and establish who is fit to return to work.

We are confident that the virus will be contained.

For all of your safety, I appeal to all residents who have had any face to face interaction with Derek over the last 48 hours to please contact reception immediately, to self-isolate within your home for the next 14 days and to closely monitor yourself for any symptoms that you might be showing.

To everyone else, please ensure that you are strictly adhering to social distancing rules, always wearing a face mask when in public and in the village and regular sanitizing your hands and surfaces.
