        Dear Resident,

I trust you are keeping well and warm during this cold spell, it should warm up on Saturday and
then if the weather bureau can be trusted, three days of rain and temperatures in the mid-teens.

In line with our careful and gradual opening up of exercise and activities, from tomorrow, Friday,
the gym will be opening.

Gym
We start off with three sessions per day, and restricted to FOUR residents at a time. This will give
us a chance to sanitise after each session.

Times :-

  *   6.30 am - 7.30 am
  *   10.30 am - 11.30 am
  *   3 pm - 4 pm

We will review these times and frequency of the sessions depending on demand and requests.

Outside the gym door is a table with a black hard covered book. Please sign at the designated time
and date for your hourly session. A reminder to please keep to the 'social distancing' norm, sanitise
as you go along and where possible wear a mask covering your nose and mouth.

Art Classes
Steph de Hass (Apartment 2) has started her art classes in the life style center on a Monday at
10.00 am, tables have been placed along the large windows letting in plenty of natural light.
Please contact Steph should you want to join.

Line Dancing
Some of you have asked about Line Dancing classes. Shereen contacted me today, she would like
to start in September. The first class will be on Thursday 3 September at 9.00 am.
All residents who are interested please contact reception. Price R 220.00 per month, 4 / 5 lessons

A reminder to be careful out there -

  *   Practice 'social distancing', keep a distance of at least 1.5m.
  *   Wear a face mask, at all times.
  *   Sanitise wherever you go.
  *   Avoid potential high 'used' surfaces, do not touch them.
  *   Cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue, or into the crook of your arm / elbow.
