[Evergreen Muizenberg] Lockdown DAY 12

        Dear Resident,

I trust you are all keeping well on Day 12. We are over the half way point and now heading to the finish,
I can almost see the end. To all residents, thank you for your co-operation and in helping to keep our village safe.
It is not easy, but let us keep going, the final rewards will far outweigh the inconvenience we are currently undergoing.

I have two attachments for you today, the first is a short video on how easy the spread of viruses are and how we should be
constantly on our guard wherever we are. Wash, wash and wash your hands again.

If you absolutely HAVE to go out make sure -

  *   You practice 'social distancing', other than staying in your house / apartment, the most effective way to keep

the virus at bay

  *   Wear a face mask, there has been a lot of debate regarding this, we recommend that you wear one.
  *   Sanitise where ever you go, carry an alcohol based sanitiser solution with you at all times.
  *   Still the most effective way to avoid the virus is STAY AT HOME.

ANOTHER CAUTION, during this time a lot of you might be doing 'on-line' buying and just generally 'surfing' the internet
more than normal.
Just as you would avoid touching objects and surfaces that may not be clean, so you should also avoid opening
emails and text messages from unknown parties or visiting untrusted websites. So when buying online only use secure and
trusted shopping sites. Look for the lock image in the toolbar and an 'https' in the web address, before entering your card or
other personal information on any site.

The other attachment is on a 'special' our kitchen is running, Pancake Wednesday, a great addition to their already fantastic
offering. Reminder about their wholesome frozen meal available and now also the 'Soup of the Day'.

FRIDAY:  Potato & Leek Soup
