VILLAGE OPERATIONS - GENERAL UPDATE
Staff Movement
In a bit of a bitter-sweet announcement I would like to advise you that Brenton Garrison, one of our Duty Manager's, has resigned. Brenton is a qualified
project manager and has been a huge asset to our team and we have all learned a great deal from him. We are sad to be losing him and wish him all the best in the next phase of his career.
We have started the interview process and more information on his replacement to follow shortly. With an ever-growing village we need more support on the daily administrative tasks to allow the Duty Manager's more freedom to focus on operational duties.
Evergreen Health
As you are aware Sr Diana Lane's last shift was yesterday. Diana has been part of our team through the Covid-19 pandemic and also the Village's
biggest growth spurt when we moved into the new facilities. We wish her only the best in her new venture and thank her for all she has contributed
to our team and the Village as a whole.
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Sr Lorraine Powell who some of you might know already. She will be assisting in our Village until such time a final decision has been made around the Healthcare services and Levy.
Operating Hours
We have been in a fully operational Lifestyle Centre for just over one year and we have been assessing the operational needs and how we can
maximise our staffing resources. Based on the usage of the Lifestyle Centre facilities after hours we have decided, in conjunction with Rescom to change the operational
hours of the team and this will then also impact on the availability of some facilities but based on usage there should be very little affect at all.
As with the currant arrangements a member of the security team will man the desk outside the general operating hours.
Operating Hours from 1 July is as follows:
* Reception / Duty Managers 07h00 - 19h00, Monday to Friday | 07h00 - 17h00, Saturday & Sunday
* Pool / Gym 08h00 - 18h30, Monday to Friday | 07h00 - 17h00, Saturday & Sunday
* General Facilities Unrestricted access
* On evenings where dinners are served or special events are held the roster will be amended accordingly.
* Clinic Monday to Friday | 07h00 - 19h00
