        Information with respect to the Kommetjie Road upgrade below.

NOTIFICATION KOMMETJIE ROAD UPGRADE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE & RECONSTRUCTION OF BULLER LOUW/ OU KAAPSE WEG INTERSECTION

Dear Interested & Affected Party,

The Kommetjie Road Upgrade Project wish to inform the residents of Sunnydale, the surrounding residential areas and the general public that a section of the Buller Louw Boulevard will be closed over the weekend of 04 to 07 October, 2019 for reconstruction.

Normal through-traffic along Ou Kaapse Weg (OKW) and Kommetjie Main Road will not be affected by this closure, however left- and right-turns into Buller Louw Blvd will be prevented (see diagram below and attached). Access to Sunnydale will be via Longboat Street and Noordhoek Main Road. Exiting traffic will be routed to the OKW/Noordhoek Main Road intersection via Houmoed Avenue. The working area will comprise Buller Louw Blvd from the intersection at OKW up to Sunnydale Road and it will be a no-go area for non-construction personnel.

It is anticipated that the operation will take two to three days to complete. The closure will take place from 19h00 on Friday 04/10/19 until 05h00 on Monday 07/10/19.
