Subject: Electricity Interruption - Wednesday 13 November 2019

Dear Residents,

We have received the attached notification from the City of Cape Town that there will be an interruption to the electricity supply at the Lake Michelle substation on Wednesday 13th November 2019 from 09h00 - 16h00 for infrastructure maintenance (weather permitting).

They have said it should only affect Lakeshore drive, Milkwood, Sweetwater, Spoonbill, Oriole and Bluefin Crescent to Oriole Close of the estate, however we are sending this out as a precautionary measure should it affect other parts of the estate.

Please remember that our sewer system relies on electrical pumps and during an electrical disruption there may be chance of the system overloading so we therefore encourage you to be mindful of flushing the loo, bathing or showering while there is no electricity.

NOTE : Please put your geyser switch in the "off" position when the electricity goes off and switch it on again 1 hour after the electricity is restored.  This will prevent unwanted tripping that may prolong your inconvenience.
