NOTIFICATION KOMMETJIE ROAD UPGRADE PROJECT: SWITCHOVER OF LANES ON OU KAAPSE WEG

Dear Interested and Affected Party,

Please be advised that a switchover of lanes on Ou Kaapse Weg as per the attached sketches is due to take place on 18/19 July 2019. This switchover will only affect the Southbound lanes on Ou Kaapse Weg and will entail moving traffic over onto the recently surfaced portions of roadway. Also demonstrated in the sketches is the fact that the number of lanes at, and between intersections will not be reduced from what it is at present.

At the moment, traffic signals are being adjusted and new painted road markings are being applied in preparation for the switchover.

The KRU Project Team would like to thank the community for their ongoing patience and co-operation during the many phases of construction.
