Dear Residents

A quick reminder:

We have once again had a resident granting a visitor, who was not intended for them, access to the Estate. The visitor gave an address, the resident at the given address, after being phoned by the guard on duty, granted access to the visitor, but did not query the non-arrival of the visitor with the guard. In the meantime the visitor arrived unannounced at the address of another resident who was the intended destination.

Please, if you are not expecting anyone and/or you are unable to make out what the guard is saying, please don't grant access to the visitor. Rather tell the guard you are not expecting anyone and ask him to check again with the visitor. By doing this the guard will have to readdress entry with the visitor and gain further clarity on whom they are actually meant to be visiting, if this is not obtained the visitor will be turned away.

Giving access to visitors in this way is a very dangerous practice and could potentially put others at risk.
