Dear Residents

We have received notification from the City of Cape Town that there will be an interruption to the electricity supply at Lakeshore Drive substation, Sweetwater, Ibis End, Oriole Close & surrounding areas on Sunday 23 September 2018 from 06h00 - 16h00 for substation maintenance (weather permitting).   Kindly see attached notice.

Please remember that our sewer system relies on electrical pumps and during an electrical disruption there may be chance of the system overloading so we therefore encourage you to be mindful of flushing the loo, bathing or showering while there is no electricity.

NOTE : Please put your geyser switch in the "off" position when the electricity goes off and switch it on again 1 hour after the electricity is restored.  This will prevent unwanted tripping that may prolong your inconvenience.
