KOMMETJIE ROAD UPGRADE - NIGHT WORK ACROSS BLACK HILL 25TH TO 27TH JULY 2018

Dear Interested and Affected Party,

As part of the ongoing progress on the Kommetjie Road upgrade project the City has given Martin and East a noise exemption permit allowing night work to be done on 25th 26th and 27th July 2018. The night work will entail the closure of firstly the north bound lanes and then the south bound lanes of Glencairn Expressway - Black Hill - at the intersection with Kommetjie Road. This will allow for the road to be excavated and the 500 and 350 diameter ductile iron pipes to be laid and backfilled.

Single lane traffic movement in each direction will be accommodated at all times.
The approved traffic accommodation plan for each section will be put in place from 19:00 each evening with the full width of road open to traffic again by 05:00 the following morning.
