KOMMETJIE ROAD PROJECT NOTIFICATION: TRAFFIC SIGNALS


On-going road works on this project necessitate the switch off of traffic signals to provide working space for the special equipment.
            At the Kommetjie Road / Ou Kaapseweg intersection some of the signal poles were placed in drums for flexibility for future temporary movements today. At the same time the islands from where they were moved are being prepared to accommodate future traffic accommodation and deviation plans. Similar work is also underway at the Ou Kaapseweg / Noordhoek Road intersection.
            On Friday 13th October 2017 the signals at Kommetjie Road / Ou Kaapseweg intersection will be switched off to allow the movement of power supply kiosks on the south side.
            City traffic officers will be in attendance to control traffic from 10:00 until +/- 14:30.
