        What’s Happening: 18/12/2023 – 24/12/2023

We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Keith Young (#215) on 20th December; Shelly Ellman-Brown (#219) on the 27th December and Roy Munro (#303) on 29th December 2023.

Activities this Week:
- Shopping Transport for December will meet at Reception at 09h30 on 20th December.
- Fellowship Group will meet in the Sky Lounge, Wednesday 20th December for their Lunch. Please contact Mrs. J de Villiers (Ext 1504) or Mrs. Randall (Ext 1609)
- Our local beautician will be here from 09h30 – 15h00 on Thursday, 21 December in the Sky Lounge
- Rummikub will be held in the Bisto on Thursday, 21st December at 2pm in the Bistro.  ALL welcome. Please put your names down for seating arrangements. Call reception on Ext 1400.
- Please book for both Sunday Lunch and join me for the Christmas Lunch on Monday, 25th December. Please book for Christmas Lunch by no later than Tuesday, 19th December.

Forthcoming Events:
- Movie Night will take place on Friday, 29 December at 6pm. More details to follow.
- A Bring & Share function is planned for News Year’s Eve. More details to follow.
 - Shopping Transport for December will meet at Reception at 09h30 on 28/12. Cost is R50 per trip and will be added to your levy.

Internal Refurbishment:
- The paving leading to the emergency assembly point has been completed and will settle down during the next few days.
- The pool tile area has been completed and finished off and sealed with Coprox. The look and feel in the Pool Area is much improved. The Gym Equipment will be moved back during the course of Monday.
- Please note that the tiles/cupboard in the pool toilets are not yet done and will be completed in early January, when the carpenter returns from leave.
- Neil and his team have done a good job on the internal cracks and painting. They have not yet finished and will be back in the New Year to complete the Recreation Lounge and Admin Office, the doors and railings as well as a few minor snags. The Village looks beautiful and really fresh!

Housekeeping:
- Please note that Amanda George will be on annual leave from 18th December – 10th January 2024. All other staff will be working through the December period.
- In the event that you need us to assist you with anything after-hours, please call reception on Ext 1400 or my Cell number 0718576428 for help.

The 15th December is upon us and 9 days left until Christmas Day!   Hope Santa is putting something special under the tree for all of us!
