MONDAY, 07 NOV                Creamy Mushroom & Bacon Pasta Bake with Greek Salad
TUESDAY, 08 NOV               Cottage Pie with Gravy & Seasonal Vegetables
WEDNESDAY, 09 NOV         Pork Schnitzel with cheese sauce, Potato Wedges and Seasonal Vegetables
THURSDAY, 10 NOV            Sweet & Sour Chicken with Vegetables Stir - Fry on Bed of Egg Noodle
FRIDAY, 11 NOV                   Fried Hake & Tartar sauce with Chips and Chef's Salad
SUNDAY, 13 NOV                 Caprese Salad Tomato and Mozzarella with Fresh Bazil, Olive Oil and Balsamic, Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Gravy, Roasted Potatoes Vegetables, Milk Tart

Our Bistro Menu with a selection of breakfast, toasted sandwiches, cake plus hot and cold beverages.  Please be sure to give us a heads up by 4pm the day before if you would like to order the Daily Special in the bistro. The Deli Menu is available 5-days/week, Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm. Please note that should you wish to enjoy the Deli menu that there will be delays between 12h00 -13h00 due to pre-ordered daily specials being served for lunch. Payment accepted on pre-paid account, credit or debit card. Breakfast is served till 11h30.

Activities coming up:

*         Movie Night will Be Wednesday 11th November, The Perfect Family - all welcome please book with Reception for popcorn count.

  *   BINGO Night will take place on Wednesday, 16 November at 7pm. Please contact Margaret Hull on Ext 1716
  *   Cake & Tea Thursday - Please join us on Thursday for Cake and a cup of Tea/Coffee and chats in the Bistro at 3pm for R25.00 per person.
  *   HNA Active Aging Class connects with residents to exercise in the recreation room on Fridays.
  *   Games Evening - Friday 30th November please contact - Please book with Reception
  *   Residents Braai - takes place every on Saturday evening.  Bring your own meat and refreshments and gather in the Bistro. Call Margaret Hull on Ext 1716 for additional information

Building Refurbishment

  *   The one team has completed the Juliet balconies sliding doors on the North side and will continue to work on the cracks, balcony railings and compete painting.
  *   The other team have moved around the corner on the East wall to continue with remedial work. Please be aware of where they are working and I urge you to close your windows due to grinding noise and dust. The first team is almost at the corner of the building ready to move to the south side.
  *   I would like to thank all residents for the patience whilst the contractors have been are working. I know it has been tough going but we're almost at the end.

General:

  *   Shopping Transport will meet at Village at 09h30 every alternate Tuesday. The next trip is planned for 01/11 (Constantia Village)  and 15/11 (Blue Route) and  29/11 ( Constantia Village) - R30 per trip will be added to your levy account. It is important to book your seat with reception on Ext 1400. If we have no bookings by the Monday, we will cancel the trip for Tuesday.
  *   Just a reminder that we will collect Refuse Bins early on Monday. Please assist us and only put out your rubbish bins early on a Saturday (bins get emptied and swopped) and early on Monday morning (bins get washed and sanitized before they are replaced).
  *   Please also note that the basement area is looking "messy" and untidy as many residents are "storing" goods/boxes and unused items behind their cars along the wall. Please make sure that these item are cleared up and removed as soon as possible.
  *   At this stage there is no load shedding planned for city customers.
  *   Also please be aware that the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon takes place on Sunday and there will be road closures in and around the Southern Suburbs.
