[Evergreen Diep River]

        Dear Resident,

I regret to inform you that Amanda George's test results came back positive for Covid-19. She went home early this morning to isolate. Our COVID protocols have kicked in and will continue as follows:

*         All close contacts with Amanda yesterday have been tracked.  No residents have been identified, we are confident that she didn't spend periods of time with any staff or resident. However, if you have had any dealing with her, please advise Sharon Adams and monitor yourself for symptoms. We advise you to please call the clinic/reception should you present with any symptoms including a sore throat, severe body ache, fever, nausea and diarrhea.
*         All healthcare, domestic and management staff who were in her company have been tested and are negative at this stage. They will monitor themselves and continue to wear protective gloves and masks when entering your homes.

I want to remind all residents once again that it is crucial to:

  *   Wear your mask over your nose and mouth at all times when outside your home.
  *   Wash and sanitise your hands on a regular basis.
  *   Observe social distancing of at least two meters.
I would like to wish Amanda a speedy recovery and all the best during this difficult time.
