<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">It was brought to our attention by one of the residents that vehicle registration numbers were being taken down by car guards at the

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Broadacres Shopping Centre. The resident enquired as to why the registration numbers were being recorded as this was the first time that she has noticed this happening. She was<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Informed that this was being done as per instruction from Centre Management as they have had claims of items being stolen from cars in the past that were never actually parked at the centre.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The concern was raised by the resident that this could put residents at risk of information being passed onto criminals as she feels they could be recording the perceived vulnerability of drivers as well.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">She is of strong belief that this practice should be seized.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">This is however not something that she wanted to do in isolation and hence have requested us to send out this communication informing residents of the situation and providing the
