        Dear Residents,

GAS HEATERS AND GAS HOBS

For all those of you that have either a GAS HEATER or a GAS HOB - Safety is YOUR priority
and it is VERY important to have your gas equipment serviced.

Yes even gas heaters and hobs need to be serviced by a qualified gas technician. This should
be done at least every two years.

We have recently had two incidents in the village with gas heaters catching fire, as a precaution
and for your safety, please have your gas heaters and hobs checked and serviced.

For example - things that need to be checked:
-      The hoses need to be checked
-      The valves that connects to the heater
-      The connections on the heater valve/volume control
-      The heating panels for cracks or leaks

I have arranged with the following company - Barden The Gas Guy - they are prepared
to come to the village and service your gas heater's at a reduced price of R250.00 per heater
and if you have a gas heater and a gas hob they will service both for R350.00.

The catch is... they will come to the village for a minimum of 5 residents that want their heaters serviced.
