Dear Residents,

Covid19 - Residents in Isolation/ Residents Recovery

We would like to inform you that Ron Mackie (#114) have tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. Ron has had symptoms such as a cough as early as last week already.  They have had family staying with them and they are all now in isolation.  Pauline and the family are being tested today.
We have done a track and contact list with the office staff, clinic/ ENA's and general workers and confirm that no services have been provided to them since last week. I would personally like to thank them for contacting us immediately and for getting in touch with their friends who they may have had contact with them in the last week. It is only in this way that we can fight this pandemic and endeavour to stop it from getting into the village.
It is also a stark reminder that Covid-19 is everywhere and we should take every precaution, we must be vigilant. Please ensure that you wear a three-ply cloth mask over your nose and mouth at all times when leaving your home; wash your hands and sanitise every hour on the hour; practice social distancing of at least two meters.

We would again like to reiterate to all residents to please alert the Village Manager as soon as you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, such as a sore throat; a fever or increased temperature; a dry cough; body aches; or shortness of breath; loss of taste and/or smell. If you suspect that you have coronavirus symptoms, please call the Frail Care or reception for assistance - please do not come to the clubhouse. It is vital that you report to Village Management as soon as you are not feeling well and that you isolate and do not socialise with other residents.

Furthermore, should you or any of your family go for a COVID-19 test, we request that you inform us immediately. Please do not let them visit you until they receive a negative result and we have been informed.
