Dear residents,



Celebrating Arbor Day is a long standing tradition in our village and this is a

heads-up that we will again be celebrating the day, but a scaled down version of it. We will not be planting any trees because the gardeners have not been available to dig the holes.



Instead, we will be pruning the trees and shrubs that we planted in previous years. This is not rocket-science and I’ll explain what needs to be done in a short briefing at the start of the day.



Further announcements will follow in due course, but in the meantime please diarise the morning of Saturday 12 September for our Arbor Day celebration
