Mandela Day

Mandela Charity Drive ends on Tuesday, 30 July 2019.

We are delighted with the response but, as you know, it is never enough!  Please drop off small non-perishable items at the LIfestyle Centre Reception area where there is a special basket.  Alternatively, please deliver to Judy Stuart's home (Unit 87).  She will be home most of the weekend and Monday, but please call first in case on ext. 1087.

2019 Annual Big Aloe Festival

What Is It?
The 2019 Annual Big Aloe Festival will be taking place at the Witkoppen Wildflower Nursery in Northriding. Come and see the splendid reds, oranges and yellows of this hardy flower species in bloom. Together with Sunbird Aloes, the nursery will celebrate the ‘late’ winter flowering of the Sunbird Aloe varieties. Bring your cameras along to capture the natural beauty of these plants. After the show, pick up a couple of aloe plants for yourself. This is a green-thumbed gardener’s heaven, so don’t miss it.

When Is It?
Friday, 26 July 2019 – Sunday, 04 August 2019.
The nursery is open from 08:00 – 17:00 on Monday to Saturday, and from 08:00 – 16:00 on Sundays.

Where Is It?
Witkoppen Wildflower Nursery, 363 Valley Road, North Riding, Johannesburg.

How Much Is It?
Entrance to the Big Aloe Festival is free.
