Bev Jackson Resignation


1 February 2019

Dear Residents,

Those present at the Burns Nicht celebration would have heard this before.

Bev had been visiting her family in Australia, and on her return asked whether she could resign her position as Catering Portfolio Leader. It is with regret that we accepted her resignation.

Bev handled the whole of the Hospitality Portfolio for the previous ResCom year. When the present ResCom was elected in August last year, she wanted out but we persuade her to stay on to look after the Catering Portfolio.

The Hospitality and Catering Portfolios are by far the most demanding of all the portfolios. Not only demanding, but also thankless and Bev handled both of them with distinction. While she was in charge we enjoyed some great social events!

On your behalf then, a very big THANK YOU to Bev. She tells us that she’s looking forward to enjoying life in our Village without the responsibilities of ResCom.

So, Bev, enjoy it but know that we’ll miss you from the committee!
