        Hello All,

1.       ANNUAL MANDELA DAY CHARITY DRIVE

Today is Mandela Day.  We've been appealing to you for donations of non-perishable goods for the under privileged.

Last year, through the generosity of the Village, we managed to fill a trailer.  This year we are some way off matching that target.

Therefore, we are urging you to open your hearts and your wallets and purchase even just a few items when doing your shopping.
Samples include - mealie meal, rice, dried beans, samp, sugar, long-life milk, instant porridge, teabags, tins of pilchards/fish,
baked beans, peanut butter, cooking oil, toothpaste, toilet & laundry soap, deodorant all in small (1kg) sizes
which won't involve a lot of re-packaging.

Sue us currently away but your parcels can be left with Jean (Unit 58) or in the office with Rene before the end of this month.

2.       MOVIE NIGHT, THURSDAY 20 JULY @ 6:00 PM

"SHALL WE DANCE" starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez & Susan Sarandon.

A bored, overworked estate lawyer, on first sight of a beautiful dance instructor from his daily commuter train, signs up
            for ballroom dancing lessons.

3.       VODACOM SUPER RUGBY

The quarter finals take place this weekend with the following South African teams playing :

           Lions          vs      Sharks        Emirates Airline Park, Johannesburg       14:30
         Stormers     vs      Chiefs        DHL Newlands                                           17:00

You are welcome to watch this in the Clubhouse but please remember to BYO drinks & snacks.
