Please will all residents who are coming to the social dinner tomorrow evening be seated by 17h15.
As you know we have two guests, who will be talking to us about guide dogs and their duties. For those of you who wish to listen to the talk but are not staying for dinner, please be in the clubhouse by 17h15.
Our speaker is blind, and it will be disrespectful to him if people are looking for seats whilst he is addressing us.
Any donation to SA Guide Dogs for the Blind will be greatly appreciated.

Lady in Gold - Starring Helen Mirran and Ryan Reynolds.  Maria Altman, an octogenarian Jewish refugee, takes on the Austrian government to recover artwork she believes rightfully belongs to her family.

Sunday 28th May 2017  15.00   Last Night of the Proms  Linder Auditorium

We will be booking tickets as soon as possible.   This is a very enjoyable afternoon out and those of you who wish to come in an Evergreen Group please let either Sue or Jean know.   R265 a ticket - which is the price for either a group booking or pensioners ticket.     Payment required with booking.

Last Night of The Proms is one of the most entertaining , fun filled concerts<http://online.computicket.com/web/event/last_night_of_the_proms/1112983161/#> performed annually with Richard Cock, the Symphony Choir of Johannesburg, the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra and this year concert is subtitiled THE ENTERTAINERS as it celebrates the anniversaries of Scott Joplin, Paul McCartney and Dizzy Gillespie and their wonderful music with two exciting soloists Palesa Malieloa soprano and Tatiana Thaele flute. The concert is based on the famous British Last Night of the Proms held at the Albert Hall in London, with a programme of popluar music and light classics finishing with the taditional singing of the Hallelujah Chorus, Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, plus, of couse, ballons, steamers and flags waving

We have taken a block booking for 20 tickets - row N centre stalls - as booking is very brisk and there are only 4 evening shows.

Please let either Sue or Jean know as soon as possible if you would like to come to this show.

We will have to allocate tickets on a 'first come, first served basis" with the hope that we may be able to increase the booking if more than 20 residents want to go.
R175 a ticket - which is the group booking price.  Payment required with booking.  Individual pensioner price tickets are R200.
