DURBAN JULY SWEEPSTAKE DRAW WEDNESDAY, 29 JUNE
There are still a few tickets available and the draw for the 18 runners will take place before
dinner is served.   After paying the first, second and third place prizes the balance will buy
the strawberries & cream for the Mens' Final of Wimbledon on Sunday, 10 July when we
hope you will also enjoy a glass of bubbly.

MOVIE NIGHT, THURSDAY 30 JUNE @ 18:00
Popular choice will decide between MAMA MIA or FOREST GUMP - both will warm the
cockles of your heart on a cold evening.

MANDELA DAY APPEAL
Mandela Day is celebrated on July 18 with an appeal for 67 minutes of your time in support
of the less privileged.  Last year as our contribution we collected dry goods to be donated to a
worthy cause.  The following items are just a suggestion of what is appropriate :  mealie meal,
rice, sugar, salt, dried beans, packet soups, soya mix, soaps (personal & laundry), teabags, longlife
or powdered milk, jam and peanut butter.   No matter how small your donation, it will make someone's
life a little bit easier and can be dropped off with Jean or Sue or in the Clubhouse.
