<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">To follow on from email sent from Alan Baxter – Chairman of Rescom, we would like to re-assure all that we are fully aware of Residents that make use of our Evergreen Home-Based
Care Services - these services will continue and will remain available to those residents that use these home care services. We will send out an updated rate card shortly for these services.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">With that said, this service will not cease to exist as led to be rumoured and I would like to encourage Residents to contact myself or Evergreen Health with regards to any concerns
you might have around healthcare.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">In the next week or two we will be meeting with the Residents who make use of our Home-Based Care services to go through our services and to make individual arrangements that cater
for your specific needs and requirements.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">The Rescom Finance Sub Committee has recently met with Evergreen Management to discuss various items emanating from the AGM. One of these objectives were to review the costs within
the village with the intent of reducing them - this in turn could have a positive effect on levies for residents.<o:p></o:p></p>

This is a “Pay for Use” service and residents must contract directly with Evergreen Health for any services that is required. Services included here are for example; Bath/Bed bath, getting patient out of bed, making of bed, hair wash, mouth hygiene, nail care,

These services are for the resident’s direct account. Frail care services are provided at our Care Centre at Evergreen Muizenberg and Evergreen Residents enjoy preferred rates at any of our Evergreen facilities. Sub-Acute Services are also available at the
Care Centre. Some residents may opt to age in place and not use the Frail care facility but rather employ a permanent nurse for 24-hour coverage.<o:p></o:p></p>
