<b>Vrede & Lust wine estate in Franschhoek</b> <span style="color:black">on Wednesday, 2<sup>nd</sup> November</span> promises to be a wonderful day. Leaving from the village early in the morning, we’ll head off to Vergenoegd to have coffee and watch the “duck
parade” - an amusing daily ritual where our flock of Indian Runner Ducks line-up in eager anticipation of their day in the vineyards. This will be followed by a visit to the Franschhoek Motor Museum - a special opportunity to look back at more than 100 years
of motoring history with its unique and exciting collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and memorabilia in the magnificent setting of L’Ormarins. after this, we’ll take a trip down memory lane with a visit to the Huguenot Museum, located among landscaped
gardens. It celebrates the French legacy of the area and pays tribute to the hardships the people endured as they painstakingly brought this verdant wine growing valley to life. The trip will end off with a wine tasting at Vrede & Lust and then off to the
Lust Bistro for lunch - there is something for everyone: salads crisp with dew-fresh seasonal garden produce, cakes just out the oven, cheese and charcuterie platters boasting South African specialities, mouth-watering chicken and beef dishes all exquisitely
presented. We’ll then make our way home in the late afternoon. It is definitely an experience you do not want to miss.
